"I always felt like there was something missing in the entertainment industry. We’re told to take classes, get headshots, and find an agent, but what happens after that? As entertainers, we’re often left in the dark with little to no guidance at all. I’ve seen so many talented actors give up on their dreams due to frustration and lack of direction — and I knew I had to do something about it.
That’s why I created The Bright Stars Greenroom - Ultimate Acting Business Retreats. I wanted to build a safe space where actors could find ALL the tools they need to confidently chase their dreams and become working actors. I have a huge heart for helping others succeed, and a gift for encouraging them to keep going when times get tough. We’re all meant to shine bright, but sometimes we need a little push from someone who’s experienced it all—the highs and the lows. This retreat is all about empowering you to take your acting career to the next level and helping you navigate the journey with confidence. THE PROCESS:
1. APPLY
Once all of your questions are answered and you feel ready to commit, it’s time to apply for our one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive acting retreats! We would love to welcome everyone, but since space is limited, we need to ensure that we are the right fit for each other before moving forward.
No matter your skill level as an actor, we encourage everyone to apply. Our retreats are designed to cater to your unique needs and goals, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your craft. To ensure the best experience for you, we want to get to know YOU first — which is why we have an application process in place.
2. PAYMENT
After we connect and your application has been approved, it’s time to select the room that best suits you and your budget! We offer a variety of options, including both private and shared rooms, so you can choose the perfect fit for your needs.
Based on your preferences and desired experience, you’ll be able to secure your reservation with a deposit. This ensures that your spot at the retreat is officially reserved, and we can begin tailoring the experience to your unique goals
3. WELCOME EMAIL
After we receive your registration, you’ll receive a welcome email outlining everything you can expect over the next few months leading up to the retreat. In this email, we’ll include a detailed checklist to ensure you know exactly what to pack for this transformative experience.
You’ll be embarking on an incredible adventure, carefully designed to set you up for success. We want you to feel fully prepared and excited, which is why we’ll provide you with all the information you need to make this experience a smooth and impactful one. From the moment you step in, you’ll be ready to dive deep into your craft and push your boundaries.
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE & FLIGHTS
If you’re not based in Florida, booking your flight and transportation will be an important next step. We recommend securing your travel arrangements as soon as possible to ensure you arrive ready for an unforgettable experience.
Additionally, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations or changes. While travel insurance is not required, it provides peace of mind knowing that your investment is fully protected.
5. AUDITIONS & CHECK-IN
Two weeks before the retreat, you’ll receive sides to audition for our professional short film. This is your chance to showcase your talent and be a part of something exciting!
The following week, you’ll have a virtual meet-and-greet with your host, Shannon Scott, along with your fellow housemates. This is the perfect opportunity for everyone to get to know each other before spending the week together. We’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel completely prepared and at ease
5. RETREAT
Alas, the moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! It’s time to show up ready to relax, recharge, awaken your inner creativity, and experience an unforgettable retreat that will transform your world.
