MEET THE TEAM
Igniting Success through Performance
Shannon Scott is the Founder, CEO and host of The Bright Stars Greenroom. Born and raised in Florida, Shannon first dipped her toes in the arts by studying Dance and Theatre through college. Soon after, she landed her first professional gig as an entertainer when she was cast to become one of the first Free-Diving Mermaids for Ripley’s Aquarium. She then continued her aquatic performances as a pearl-diver for Seaworld Orlando for many years while she pursued her dreams of becoming a working actor.
Despite her early shyness. So much so, that her family once thought she was mute! Shannon was always a keen observer of the world around her and enjoyed telling stories of all types. With a lot of research, rejection and determination, Shannon has charged her way into becoming a working actor and professional voiceover talent-having the honor of working with production companies all around the world. Whether she was performing a on-stage, underwater, in a n on-camera production or providing a high-quality voiceover, Shannon was always searching for ways to empower lives through performance.
With her passion for the arts and love of helping others, Shannon was frustrated by seeing talented performers give up on their dreams and disillusioned by the industry’s common advice of “get a headshot, get an agent, and you’ll be on your way,” She recognized the need for something more meaningful and helpful in such a competitive industry, which inspired her to create something special for actors to pursue their dreams with full confidence. A place where actors could come together to focus on gaining the knowledge needed to thrive in the entertainment industry. Thus, the Bright Stars Greenroom was born—providing a transformative space for artists to connect, grow, and elevate their careers as actors.
Shannon possesses a remarkable ability to help others find their spark, even in the darkest of times. As an empath, she dedicates herself to uplifting fellow creatives, inspiring them to pursue their acting passions and embrace their full potential with unshakeable confidence. With a heart full of compassion and a spirit ignited by creativity, Shannon continues to inspire and uplift those around her.

RE-FRAMing Actors Minds
If you believe in the concept that the universe will always lead you to where you need to be, Landon is a clear representation of that… Performing vocally in schools, churches, and professional singing organizations for the first half of his life, acting was never on his radar – not even in the shadows of said radar. But in his early 30s, the universe used a series of unexpected circumstances to bring two seemingly disparate skill sets together and he found himself being handed the lead role in an original musical. And Unknown to him at the time, this debut performance would officially begin his foray into acting (unless you count his groundbreaking performance as Camel #1 in his Church’s Christmas play when he was in second grade.)
Never quite being able to settle on that “one career” he wanted for the rest of his life, acting surprisingly “came out of left fiend” and allowed him to realize there wasn’t just one path to take… and since then Landon has been able to have many different “careers” – many only lasting for the length of a single day shooting, but continuing to add priceless milestones to Landon’s journey of becoming an actor.
Blending the skillsets that ultimately led to that first stage role, Landon has since done live event hosting for clients like Raymond James Financial, Walt Disney World; shot national commercials for clients such as ADT, Pilot Pens, Nike; industrials for Dell Computers, NASA, Darden Restaurants, and Publix; and continues pursuing his own acting goals within the TV/Film industry with project credits on Hulu, Lifetime, and Amazon Prime.
Additionally, he has been fortunate to spend more than a decade teaching and sharing his knowledge and expertise of the Sanford Meisner approach to acting with hundreds of actors – aspiring and seasoned alike. Landon believes everyone is on their own path, in their own lane and really encourages people not to compare their journeys to other performers because a career in this industry is neither linear, nor is it logical… So, the achievement must come from finding a process, doing the work, and showing up to discover the truth and joy. Landon strives to consistently employ the mantra that while you can’t always be right, you can always be kind – which applies to our acting, our friendships, and our business relationships, but most importantly – with ourselves.
