About The Bright Stars Greenroom

Hey, thanks for stopping by, I’m so glad you’re here! My name’s Shannon Scott, and I am the proud founder of The Bright Stars Greenroom.
ABOUT ME AND HOW THE BRIGHT STARS GREENROOM STARTED
Helping actors and creatives get out of their own way and back into their creative fire!
This dream job of mine (besides acting of course)? Is all about giving actors and creative souls the kind of effortless escape they need.
The one that reminds them who they are when the noise dies down, when the pressure lifts, when the industry’s expectations fall away.
Because here’s what I’ve learned in all of my years as an entertainer:
I’ve never met an artist who regretted giving themselves time to reset, but I have met so many who waited too long and lost touch with their voice in the process. Lost their why, their drive, and their passion to perform.

When I’m not hosting retreats, I’m in the grind too! Pursuing my acting career, just like you.
And because I’ve got a big heart for this industry (and the people in it), I spend a lot of my time helping other artists build the confidence they need to finally go after what they want, and create a real, actionable plan to get there.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes on this path.
But the biggest one?
Not believing in myself soon enough.
It took me years, and a lot of time, energy, and money to finally step into my power.
Now, nothing lights me up more than helping other creatives step into theirs.
This all started in a place I thought I was safe...
A routine checkup at the doctor’s office.
I already hate going to the doctor. I always have. But this was supposed to be just another annual visit, something I pushed myself to do even though I dreaded it. Instead, I was hit on by my primary care physician.
In a space where I was vulnerable, where I was supposed to be taken care of… I felt violated, disgusted, and betrayed.
That moment stayed with me. Not just for what happened, but for what it made me realize:
How many artists and creatives out there feel like they have to tolerate this kind of behavior just to survive in their industries?
How many of us are quietly swallowing discomfort, shrinking ourselves, staying silent — just to keep the peace, keep the role, keep the momentum?
That’s when something cracked open in me.
I couldn’t keep pretending that “pushing through” and “playing the game” was enough.
I didn’t want to just act.
I wanted to create space — for truth, for safety, for creativity, for people to remember who they are outside of the noise.
That’s how Bright Stars Greenroom was born.
