These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in The Bright Stars Green Room Retreat (“Retreat”) hosted by The Bright Stars Green Room Retreat (“Organizer”). By registering for and making payment toward the Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Payment Policy
1.1 Payment Plans & Chargeback Policy
If you choose a payment plan, the full balance must be paid no later than May 10, 2025 (seven days prior to the event).
- Failure to make full payment by this deadline will result in forfeiture of your reservation, and no refund will be issued, as your spot was held for you, preventing another guest from booking.
- All payments are final and non-refundable once made.
- Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute will be considered a breach of contract. The Organizer reserves the right to take legal action and seek collection on unpaid balances.
1.2 Accepted Payment Methods
- Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Affirm financing (if applicable).
- All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, due to the nature of retreat planning, our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made before March 17, 2025 (60+ days before the retreat start date): Eligible for a 90% refund, with a 10% administrative fee deducted.
- Cancellations made between March 18 – April 16, 2025 (30-59 days before the retreat start date): Eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
- Cancellations made on or after April 17, 2025 (less than 30 days before the retreat start date): No refunds will be issued.
- No refunds will be issued after the retreat has taken place.
- Any refund, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation request.
3. Transfer & Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another person under the following conditions:
- The Organizer must be notified in writing no later than May 1, 2025, to allow for processing.
- The substitute attendee must meet any eligibility requirements and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- The Organizer reserves the right to approve or deny transfer requests.
4. Event Changes & Force Majeure
4.1 Event Changes
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule, accommodations, venue, speakers, or activities due to logistical requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
- No refunds will be issued due to minor itinerary changes.
4.2 Force Majeure
- In the event that the Retreat is postponed, rescheduled, or canceled due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control (including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, government mandates, war, civil unrest, or other force majeure events), the following policies will apply:
- If the retreat is postponed, all payments will be applied to the rescheduled date.
- If the retreat is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, attendees will receive a credit toward a future retreat, valid for up to 12 months.
- No refunds will be issued due to force majeure events.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
By participating in the Retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You assume all risks associated with travel and participation, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property loss, or unforeseen expenses.
- The Organizer is not liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage, or other losses incurred before, during, or after the Retreat.
- You are responsible for obtaining travel insurance, if desired, to cover any unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel-related issues.
6. Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive and respectful experience for all attendees, participants agree to:
- Behave in a respectful and professional manner toward other guests and staff.
- Comply with all venue rules and regulations.
- Not engage in any illegal activities, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
- The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the Retreat without a refund if they violate these terms.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
- By completing this purchase, you agree that all payments are final and non-refundable, as outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
- If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, credit card provider, PayPal, or Affirm, you understand that:
- The dispute will be challenged with evidence, including your agreement to these terms, payment records, and service fulfillment details.
- You may be subject to collections procedures for the outstanding balance, including legal action to recover unpaid amounts.
- Any successful chargeback will require immediate repayment of the full amount.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration in Florida, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees.
9. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By registering for and making payment toward the Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
10. No Guarantee of Results or Success
Educational Intent:
The retreat is designed to provide actors with tools to grow their mentality, acting skills, and professional knowledge.
No Guaranteed Outcomes:
The Organizer and instructors make no promises regarding career success, bookings, or future work in the entertainment industry. Success is based on the Attendee’s individual efforts, dedication, and application of the skills learned.
11. Photo and Video Release
Use of Media:
By attending the retreat, the Attendee grants permission to the Organizer and Simply Shannon Entertainment LLC to photograph, film, or record the Attendee’s participation for marketing and promotional purposes.
Opt-out:
If the Attendee does not wish to be filmed or photographed, they must notify the Organizer in writing before the retreat begins.
12. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Confidential Information:
During the retreat, Attendees may have access to confidential materials, including the retreat location, acting techniques, intellectual property, production details, and personal experiences shared within the group.
Obligations of the Attendee:
The Attendee agrees to keep all confidential information learned during the retreat private and will not disclose or share it with third parties without prior written consent from the Organizer.
Consequences of Breach:
Any violation of confidentiality will result in legal action and possible financial penalties.
13. Health & Safety
Medical Information:
The Attendee is required to disclose any existing medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may impact their participation in the retreat. Failure to disclose such information may result in the Attendee being unable to participate in certain activities.
Health Insurance:
Attendees are responsible for having personal health or travel insurance to cover any medical expenses or emergency situations that may arise during the retreat.
Liability Waiver:
The Attendee hereby releases and holds harmless Simply Shannon Entertainment LLC and the retreat organizers from The Bright Stars Greenroom any and all claims or liabilities resulting from injury, accidents, or damages sustained during the retreat. The Attendee assumes full responsibility for their personal safety.

By registering for and making payment toward the Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
